"Unselfish and noble actions are the most radiant pages in the biography of souls." ~David Thomas
Our volunteers make a huge difference in the lives of our kids and their families. Last year, more than 1,400 volunteers donated more than 21,000 hours of their time.
A portion of those numbers came from volunteers of our Home-Start Program. Earlier this week, the Home-Start volunteers were treated to a lunch, guest speaker and door prizes at an appreciation luncheon.
Home-Start is a program that matches volunteers to families who need help. To learn more about the program click HERE.
Every year the Home-Start program appreciates its volunteers to let them know how invaluable the work they do really is. It gives the volunteers a chance to meet each other and share their stories.
This year, guest speaker Julie Jeger ( left photo) enlightened the volunteers with her knowledge as a personal transition coach. Julie gave the ladies words of inspiration on living a healthy, positive and fulfilling life. Thank you Julie for sharing!
The Home-Start Program looks forward to celebrating its 10th anniversary next year!
