Community Clubs and Experiential Learning

Since the first Calgary Club opened in 1939, we have been committed to supporting the children, youth and families in communities affected by complex social and economic issues. Today, our seven Community Clubs provide a safe and positive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities that develop confidence, skills for life and encourage positive relationships. Visit your club page:

Community Clubs are designed to be a support system for the entire family, by providing diverse opportunities to learn, connect and have fun. Club activities respond to the interests of children, youth and families. Programs focus on building skills in areas including education, employment and physical, visual and emotional literacy. Program activities include:

  • Cooking
  • Theatrical Arts
  • Painting and Drawing
  • Physically Active Games
  • Sports
  • Educational Supports
  • Leadership training
  • Career Development

...and more!

Read about our Club programs in the schedules under each location! Print and fill out our Club Membership Form.

Community Clubs are open six days a week and provide programming after school, on PD days and during school breaks.

Boys and Girls Clubs of Calgary memberships are only $50 for a full year of activities. The family rate for parents registering three or more members is just $95. Subsidies are available!

Our summers are also a season of opportunity for children and youth! Visit Camp Adventure or our Summer Day Camps.
